February is African Heritage Month in Nova Scotia, New Glasgow Library, every day during regular business hours. Celebrate African Heritage Month, Sharing the History and Culture of African Nova Scotians. Drop by the library and create a paper-weaving craft inspired by the kente cloth. Children can design their own weaving with colors and symbols of their own choosing. This year’s African Heritage Month provincial theme, Seas of struggle – African Peoples from Shore to Shore.
