Coldest Night of the Year 2021-Supporting Pictou County Roots for Youth
Christian Fellowship Church, Abercrombie Road, New Glasgow, NS, Canada
Sat Feb 20, 2021 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
It's cold out there. The Coldest Night of the Year is a covid-safe, family-friendly walk to raise money for charities serving people experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger. For Pictou County, that charity is Pictou County Roots for Youth. The youth shelter located in New Glasgow will be hosting their 5th annual walk.
Due to the pandemic, this year’s walk will be taking place virtually or in person. The virtual event will allow people to walk alone or with their bubble around their own routes anytime in February.
The in-person event will take place on Feb. 20 starting at Christian Fellowship Church in New Glasgow. Groups will walk spaced out for either two or five km routes. The opening ceremony will be scaled back and there will not be a hot meal after.
To register to walk, or to donate, go to https://cnoy.org/location/newglasgow and for any questions reach out to Stacey Dlamini at 902-759-7291.

Walk virtually or in-person on February 20, 2021 – there’s a place for everyone!
