This Sunday, May 11th, we will be hosting an open house launch for this seasons exhibit, The Way It Is. This exhibit features portraits of 17 captains and family members from local wharves, and insights from sit down interviews examining traditions within the fishing industry.
This exhibit will give a closer look at what goes on behind the scenes of local fisheries, help deliver a deeper understanding of what fishing means to local captains, and give curious viewers a look at the faces behind the industry.
Join us along with the creators of this exhibit this Sunday, from 2pm-4pm, for a sneak peek before we officially open for the season in June!
